New tea fair
We held events, sales, and services that leveraged the appeal of tea at tea-related facilities, tea stores, restaurants, accommodation facilities, etc. both inside and outside Shizuoka Prefecture.

Seven participatory tea parties were held by tea lovers and tea industry-related organizations, where they introduced authentic tea ceremony experiences and ways to enjoy tea from around the world, including Peru, Sri Lanka, and Indonesia.

There were 18 unique tea ceremonies and 11 stage performances, including Okinawan traditional bukubuku tea, Moroccan mint tea, and Indian chai.

Sixteen unique tea parties were held, including tea parties by various schools of the Prefectural Tea Ceremony Federation, as well as parties enjoying authentic Taiwanese tea, black tea from Germany and England, and others.

In addition to sampling and selling 16 types of fresh tea from 24 production areas in the prefecture, there was also a natural green tea leaf aroma hand massage experience and a video showing of the history of tea.

Out of 89 submitted teas from Japan and overseas, 9 teas were awarded, including 31 for the highest gold medal. Shizuoka Prefecture Governor Heita Kawakatsu presented commendation plaques to the 20 prize winners in attendance.
